THE STORY BEHIND THE ORNAMENT
Every family has that one ornament — the weird one, the one with a story, the one guests ask about. This is that ornament.
Hang It Up features our "Atlanta Maryland Hawkeyes" design: College Park's Favorite Atlanta Basketball Team. Because nothing says Christmas like a franchise that can't decide which state it's in.
On September 29, 2026, a U.S. Senator confused the Atlanta Hawks (Atlanta, Georgia) with the Iowa Hawkeyes (College Park, Maryland) during a Senate hearing. This ornament commemorates that moment of geographic excellence — perfect for hanging on your tree, right next to your dignity.
- Glass ornament with gold ribbon — classy, like a Senate hearing.
- Features the hawk in aviators, perched on a basketball.
- Reads "ATLANTA MARYLAND HAWKEYES" because we contain multitudes (and two states).
- Guaranteed to start a conversation. Whether it's a good one is up to you.
- Not affiliated with Santa, the North Pole, or any actual geographic location.
